After Tsunami, We Look to God for Comfort

Thibodeau, Ph.D., author of “Natural-Born Intuition: How to Awaken and Develop Your Inner Wisdom,” believes innate intuition guides the compassionate response to situations over which we humans have no control.

“In natural disasters we cannot infer any human motivation, so we simply respond with generosity,” she said. “With no moral dilemmas to resolve, there is only pain to be eased.

“Our inner wisdom reminds us that we are all connected, we are all human, and powerless in the wake of natural disasters. Our intuition also tells us that we can reach out, even if (all we have are) our prayers and best intentions, and that they will have some effect.”
